Mizoram Tour — full itinerary
An Aizawl-based Mizoram itinerary covering hill stations, bamboo forests and Mizo cultural sites.
Day 1 — Arrival in Aizawl
Arrive at Lengpui Airport and transfer to Aizawl. Check in and explore the local markets of Bara Bazar for traditional handicrafts.
Day 2 — Aizawl city tour
Visit Solomon’, Temple, one of the largest churches in the state. Explore the Moaoram State museum to lkearn about Mizo history and culture. Take in panoramic views from Durtlang Hills.Visit Lalsavungas Park for sunset.
Day 3 — Aizawl – Reiek and Thenzawl
Drive to Reiek Peak for trekking and breathtaking views. Visit the Reiek Model village to experience traditional Mizo liefe. Continue to Thenzawl(known for handloom industry) and stay overnight.
Day 4 — Vantawng Falls and Nature Exploration
- Optional: Drive towards Lunglei for deeper exploration or return to Aizawl.
Visit the stunning Vantawng Falls, the highest waterfall in Mizoram.Explore nearby atrtractions like the Thenzawl Deer Park.
Day 5 — Tamdil lake and relaxation
Day trip to Tamdil Lake for boating and relaxation in natural surroundings. Return to Aizawl for a final evening, enjoy Mizo cuisine.
Day 6 — Departure
Last munite shoping at Chanmari ot the handicraft museum.
Transfer to Lengpui Airport for departure.
